Show You're Dedicated with the Customer Service Program

Receive industry-recognized certifications in Goodwill's Customer Service Program. Participants can receive a referral from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or the Division of Rehabilitation Services and receive training in their field of choice. Available training includes:

  • ServSafe certification in Food Handler Safety
  • National Retail Federation certification in Customer Service and Sales
  • American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute certifications in any of these focus areas: Front Desk Representative, Guestroom Attendant, Maintenance Employee, Kitchen Cook, Breakfast Attendant, and Restaurant Server

To take advantage of this free training, participants must sign up for the SNAP Employment and Training program and/or be referred by The Division of Rehabilitation Services; participants will receive supportive services to cover all cost related to the education or training program they choose at Goodwill. Learn more about our Customer Service program.

Get on the Fast Track to a Secure Job with CNA Training

The CNA program prepares students to work as Certified Nurse Assistants, a high-demand job in the medical field. Classes are 6 and a half weeks, including instruction in the classroom and skills lab, as well as clinical rotations in the community and professional development training. Classes offered in both Knoxville and Morristown; the next class begins July 24.

Start on the Right Foot with Back on Track

For many young adults, getting a job can be difficult due to lack of work experience. Our Back on Track program is designed to help young adults age 16-24 to identify realistic career goals and gain the experience they need to get the job they want, all at no cost. If qualified, Back on Track clients will be placed into a position in the community where they can gain experience while earning a training wage. Learn more about Back on Track.
